Grey's Anatomy Reveals Burke's Shocking Secret, A Fan Favorite Dies on The Big Bang Theory and More OMG TV Moments

Welcome, TV lovers, it's May day! May is all about season finales and special sweeps events, (here are 19 of them that youabsolutely cannot miss!) and tonight's TV shows were certainly a great start to a huge month for the small screen. Grey's Anatomywelcomed back Isaiah Washington as Dr. Burke and he dropped on our beloved Cristina. Things got heated on The Vampire Diaries, and a beloved Big Bang Theorycharacter passed on. All that and more in tonight's edition of OMG TV Moments!
Grey's Anatomy: This is it, Cristina lovers. Tonight we finally found out the official reason that our beloved surgeon is going to leave GSM for good. Cristina was invited to a fancy-schmancy event to speak about her conduit trials in Zurich, only to discover that Burke was behind the invitation. Cristina soon learned that her former beau is now happily married with kids, and, thanks to a private donor, he owns his own swanky hospital! Believe us when we tell you that this place is the Rolls-Royce of hospitals. (It has a hologram maker!!)
MORE: Catch up on Wednesday's OMG TV Moments!
So did Burke ask Cristina to leave GSM and come work for him at his pristine palace? Not quite. Burke revealed that if Cristina were to work with him, then he's not sure if his marriage could survive it. Woah! Instead, Burke divulged that he's leaving and he wants Cristina to take over for him. Cristina's response was absolutely perfect: You're offering me your hospital like you're Willy Wonka and you're handing me a chocolate factory?" Yup! And just like that, Cristina now has the perfect excuse to step away from the Harper Avery Award-repellant that is GMS.
Reign: Mary managed to obtain a large sum of (Catherine's) money, and the control of a whole lot of brand new guardsmen in order to help her mother back home. So how did she do it? Oh no biggie, she just arranged for Catherine to be abducted, and in order to find out the location of the Medici hidden money, Mary also ordered for Catherine's bratty Italian cousin to be killed. She also blamed the now dead cousin as the mastermind behind the kidnapping. Damn, our little queen-to-be is becoming a serious badass!

The Vampire Diaries: If you're going to be haunted by a ghost, we definitely suggest that you make it a hot one, like Enzo. Our pissed-off poltergeist tried his best to seek revenge on the Salvatore brothers by trapping them in a burning cabin—but alas they escaped, as per usual. In other redundant moments, Elena was captured by Markos and the rest of his chanting band of traveler weirdos. (At what point is that girl going to add "Official Damsel in Distress" to her resume? She sure is an expert on it.)
In other news, Damon and Elena kissed, and had yet another of their "what the heck are we doing?" conversations. Caroline's crush on Stefan has reached epic levels, and we're loving each and every second of it. Plus, Bonnie and Jeremy tortured a half-naked Tyler/Traveler, and Bonnie continued to evade the telling her beau that she is soon going to be gone forever and ever. And ever.

The Big Bang Theory: Rest in Peace, Professor Proton—we miss you already! Tonight Sheldon was forced to deal with the fact that Arthur Jeffries (played by the iconic Bob Newhart), aka Shelly's childhood hero passed away. Arthur came to Sheldon as his Obi-Wan Kenobi-inspired sprit guide and encouraged the scientist to be more appreciative of the people in his life.
Line of the Night: "If the end of your story's a happy one, does the end really matter?" Oh, Greer—we love your undying optimism. Long live Reign!

'Mad Men' cast talk about show and final upcoming season

Will Betty and Don Draper get back together?
“Probably not,” Jon Hamm told an audience of “Mad Men” fans during Friday night’s Paleyfest panel at Hollywood’s Dolby Theater reports Variety.
But, for the most part, the appearing castmembers, which also included Vincent Kartheiser, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss, remained mum on exactly what happens when the first half of the final season of AMC’s Emmy-winning skein bows on April 13. The conversation, moderated by TV Guide’s Michael Schneider, ranged from the actors’ feelings of loss as production on the final seven episodes begins next week to favorite moments from the past eight years to the show’s trademark moments of silence between characters that say so much.
“I think some of us know where our characters are going to be,” said Hamm. “I don’t think any of us know what the scope or the entire body of the show is going to be. The way the show doles out information and tells the story is very oblique sometimes and I think that when people become really invested in the show they try to fill in the blanks.”
One thing that’s clear is that for Hamm, who for the past seven years has played the enigmatic, alcoholic Draper, the impending finale won’t be easily suffered.
“We’re in some phase of grief right now and it’s probably denial,” he revealed. “There’s nothing we can do to prepare for it. It just is. We just need to have as much fun as we can making the show until we can’t make it anymore. And that will be emotional, but it’s inevitable. Saying goodbye is part of life.”
“It’s difficult,” agreed Robert Morse, who plays crusty ad firm partner Bertram Cooper. “There’s an empty feeling because you are used to seven years of being together and being the best you can and all of a sudden it’s over and you walk around the house and you put the Celtics game on and you’re not going to go to work next Tuesday. And we’re going to miss it. And it’s something we all have to adjust to it and yet you grapple with it.”
For 14 year-old Kiernan Shipka, who was cast in the role of Draper’s daughter Sally when she was six, her experience on the show represents not just a career milestone, but a marking of her entire adolescence.
“I’ve been on the show longer than I haven’t, which is weird to think about but it’s true,” said Shipka.  “To not know what Sally is going to be up to anymore is going to be sad.”
While Hamm isn’t savvy to the “definitive end of the show,” he did hint at Don spending this last season continuing to wrestle with the myriad emotional and marital setbacks that have plagued him in prior years.
“We’ve obviously seen Don have personal struggles in various parts of his life over the course of the show — trouble with his ex-wife and his kids — and the one constant has been work,” he said. “And now at the end of season six, we see that his marriage is in trouble, his relationship with his kids is tricky at best and now work is not there. And that’s going to be a hurdle. But one overriding principle of Don is that he’s a survivor. He rises to the challenge.”
Jessica Paré, who plays Draper’s soap opera actress wife, Megan, and Moss, who plays the career-driven copywriter Peggy Olsen, spoke of how their characters help personify the rise of the 1960’s feminist icon.
“It’s a time where feminism is sort of bubbling up in the culture and Megan takes it for granted that she can have everything — a career, a family and a husband who loves her and supports her,” notes the Canadian-born Pare.  “And Don wants to be that man, he wants her to have what she wants as well, but it’s not an easy switch to flip.”
“[Peggy’s] battle all along has been: Would she be Don? Should she be Joan? Should she be someone’s wife or someone’s mother?” explained Moss. “I don’t think she’s figured it out yet but she’s starting to ask the right question, which is: Who am I? I think she’s finally figuring out that her role is to be who she is.”
Hendricks’ Joan Harris, who began her “Mad Men” journey as a bombshell secretary and has since become a single mom and formidable ad firm partner, will “absolutely find her place” in the final episodes.
“She’s making it happen on her own and sharing her feelings and emotions about it,” said Hendricks. “She’s gauging where her strengths are. Ultimately, Joan is a protector and nurturer and she is figuring out the best way to take care of her son and to protect her family.”
The cast, itself, has become a family, said Moss, “hanging out together” on and off set, and when the time comes for that one final shot there’s a certain special moment she’ll be clinging to forever.
“It was back when were wrapping the pilot and we were looking out at the New York skyline and the sun had just set and it was so beautiful,” the actress wistfully recalled, “and I thought, ‘Well, that was really wonderful and I hope we get to do it again.’”

ELISABETH MOSS VS. FRED ARMISEN! 'MAD MEN' ACTRESS TALKS MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE TO 'PORTLANDIA' STAR (VIDEO)

Mad Men actress Elisabeth Moss is finally speaking out on her short, difficult marriage to Portlandiastar Fred Armisen. The two were married for eight months until their sudden divorce in 2010, but Moss revealed that her time with Armisen was “horrible” and “extremely traumatic." The actress made the surprising comments in a cover interview with New Yorker magazine.
Wearing nothing but a pair of denim overalls on the cover, Moss reflected back on the difficult marriage with Armisen. "I feel like I was really young, and at the time I didn't think that I was that young. It was extremely traumatic and awful and horrible,” said Moss. She previously said in 2012 that "one of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, 'He's so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.'"
Fred ArmisenFred Armisen has previously admitted to being a terrible husband.

Of course, Armisen’s track record speaks for itself: he’s been married and divorced three times. In a 2012 interview with Howard Stern, he admitted being a “terrible husband” and exhibited plenty of self-loathing. "I feel bad for everyone I've gone out with," he said. "Somewhere around a year, two years, I get freaked out. I don't want to admit that (I feel entitled to more women), but that probably is it." Armisen also said his marriage to British singer Molly Timms, which was from 1998-2004, was done "more for her green card.”

Despite the difficulty in her marriage to Armisen, Moss has gotten herself back on track. She will reprise her role as Peggy Olson in the upcoming seventh series of Mad Men and won a Best Actress Golden Globe last January. She also thinks her next relationship will be much healthier. “It turned out for the best,” she said. "I'm glad that I'm not there. I'm glad that it didn't happen when I was 50. I'm glad I didn’t have kids. And I got that out of the way. Hopefully. Like, that's probably not going to happen again."
The first half of the final season of Mad Men premieres on Sunday, April 13 at 10 PM ET/PT on AMC.
