Mara Wilson not interested in Mrs Doubtfire sequel
Mara Wilson has revealed she will not be reprising her childhood role in the Mrs Doubtfire sequel.
The former child actress, who was just 6-years-old when starred as the daughter Natalie Hillard in the 1993 hit film, has taken to Twitter to confirm that she won't be joining Robin Williams in the planned sequel.
26-year-old Wilson wrote: ''They haven't asked me to be in it, and I think it would be weird if they did! I don't act much and am not a cute little kid anymore.
''The only reason I've said I don't want to do it is because of the literal hundreds of people asking me about it.
''I loved being in 'Doubtfire', and I'm grateful every day I had that experience. I met my sister-for-life Lisa [Jakub] there. I had a great time.
''But I don't think a sequel makes sense plotwise, and I don't think there'd be a part for me even if I did still act and was interested.''
While the idea of a sequel has been in the pipeline since 2001, when Bonnie Hunt was enlisted to pen a script, Director Chris Columbus and Williams never felt any of the drafts by Hunt or other writers were strong enough.
The project came back to life again earlier this year when Elf writer David Berenbaum became involved.

'I'm so sorry': Miley Cyrus forced to cancel another tour date as it's revealed allergic reaction happened after a sinus infection
Miley Cyrus has had to cancel another concert as she remains in hospital after suffering a severe allergic reaction to medication she took to treat a sinus infection.
The singer won't be appearing at her St. Louis, Missouri concert, a day after she was forced to cancel her Kansas City concert too.
The 21-year-old revealed the disappointing news on Twitter on Wednesday morning.

'I can't get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there,' Miley wrote.
'The hospital is sayin i wont b released today therefore Im not going 2 make it 2 St Louis. Im so sorry but somethings are outta my control [sic].'
TMz claims that Miley's doctor says such an allergic reaction can last for 27 days and Miley will have to stay in hospital until she gets better.
Miley had previously addressed haters who claimed she was relieved to get out of performing.

According to TMZ Miley was prescribed the antibiotic cephalexin, usually given in the form of brand name Keflex, to treat a sinus infection she was diagnosed with in North Carolina
A statement from Kansas City's Sprint Center arena where she was scheduled to perform on Tuesday evening said that Miley suffered a 'severe allergic reaction' to antibiotics.
TMZ claims that this was the first time Miley has been given a prescription for the drug so she was unaware of her allergies to it.
'Kansas I promise Im as [heartbroken] as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel s**ttier than I already do,' Miley tweeted.

She added that she was in good care a few minutes later, although later described hospital TV as 'waccckkkkkk'.
'Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me,' she tweeted along with a selfie from the hospital.
The Bangerz star has previously said in her 2009 memoir that she was born with a hole in her heart and her heart rate 'increases a lot just from going up a flight of stairs'.
InTouch report that Miley suffers from tachyeardia - a faster than normal heartbeat - that could lead to a stroke if the beauty keeps partying the way she has, a doctor told the publication.
It comes after fans in Charlotte, North Carolina on Monday were left disappointed when she cancelled just 30 minutes before show time on April 8.

Miley was diagnosed with flu and told to rest by doctors, according to a message on the Time Warner Cable arena's website but some concertgoers had already arrived for the Bangerz tour date before the announcement, only to be turned away.
The singer has been placed on medical rest by doctors, according to the statement, with no indication as yet given when she will resume the tour.
Refunds were being offered at the point of ticket purchase with online and phone orders being automatically refunded.
The singer has been sick lately and tweeted on Sunday and on Monday about flu-like symptoms. It is the latest blow for Miley, who is still grieving the death of her beloved dog Floyd.
The Alaskan Klee Kai is believed to have been attacked by a coyote last week in Los Angeles, while Miley was on tour.

Another side of Julia Louis-Dreyfus
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, “Seinfeld” veteran and veep in the HBO series “Veep,” appears mostly naked on the cover of an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine, with something that’s supposed to look like the Constitution tattooed on her back.
On Twitter, Louis-Dreyfus blamed alcohol. “In my defense, “I was in a drunken stupor” [sic] #crackexcuse,” she wrote.
The media — Slate, The Huffington Post, Jezebel, et. al. - zeroed in on a fact-checking error in the photo. Though John Hancock’s signature appears on Louis-Dreyfus’s lower back in the image, the president of the Second Continental Congress didn’t sign the Constitution, but the Declaration of Independence.

The last time an HBO star courted controversy with a magazine cover, the conversation was much different.
When “Girls” creator Lena Dunham appeared on the cover of Vogue in February, she became a target of feminist criticism. Jezebel paid $10,000 for allegedly unaltered images from the shoot and published them.
“It’s clearer than ever what kind of woman Vogue finds Vogue-worthy: The taller, longer-limbed, svelter version of reality,” Jezebel wrote.
Dunham, in turn, criticized Jezebel.
“They made such a monumental error in their approach to feminism,” she told Grantland. “It felt gross.”
No word on whether the Louis-Dreyfus cover was altered — or whether she, like Dunham, will be pilloried for her choice.
“There is sexism – I’m not denying its existence,” she told Rolling Stone. “But I’m saying that I will deny its effort against me. I just pay it no nevermind and say, ‘Get out of my way.’”
