Netflix will exclusively air the original series, From Dusk Till Dawn, based on the cult classic film of the same name, it has been announced.
From Dusk Till Dawn: A Netflix Original Series will be available exclusively to members in Canada, Ireland, Netherlands, UK and the Nordic territories to watch instantly from March 12th with Latin America beginning a week later on March 19th.
Based on the film of the same name from director Robert Rodriguez, this marks his first foray into serialised drama. He has directed four of the ten episodes of the TV adaptation which is an El Rey Network production in association with Rodriguez International Pictures, FactoryMade Ventures and Miramax. New episodes with arrive weekly in Europe and Canada within 24 hours of the U.S. broadcast.
Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix had this to say, “We’re thrilled to premiere ‘From Dusk Till Dawn: A Netflix Original Series’ exclusively in our international markets. Robert Rodriguez is an amazing storyteller and we think our members will love his thrill-ride TV adaptation of the cult-classic.”

The series is set along the Mexico-US border where bank robber Seth Gecko (D.J. Cotrona) and his brother Richie Gecko (Zane Holtz) shoot their way south after a bank heist in Texas. The 10 episode series takes place over the course of one night as the brothers attempt to evade a pair of Texas rangers (Don Johnson and Jesse Garcia). When the brothers encounter former pastor Jacob Fuller (Robert Patrick) and his family they take them hostage and use their RV to cross the border. After they detour to a strip club all hell breaks loose as they discover it is populated by vampires.
From Dusk Till Dawn: A Netflix Original Series comes to Netflix in Europe and Canada from March 12th and in Latin American territories from March 19th.
